Five boys from Klerksdorp have their soccer skills and talent to thank for their recent feat of achievement which is a lifetime dream that came true. These boys were selected to spend three years at one of the most well-known teams in Spain.

Oarabile Mosala, Tsetse Moeti, Nkosinathi Chinga, Moshito Maruma and Sechaba Legoete have been selected to spend three years at Malaga FC’s Academy while attending to their educational obligations.

The five quali¬fied for admission at the academy after attending trials in December of 2022. Malaga FC is a second-tier league team in Spain and a big brand in the Spanish, European and global football fraternity.
Should the quartet remain level-headed, maintaining discipline on and o the ¬eld and succeed in their school work, they have a chance of making it big in top European leagues.

“They played in our biggest soccer tournament called The Curro Cup 2022 at Waterstone College where Sechaba Legoete played a big role in scoring multiple goals as a striker, Chinga as an attacking midfi¬elder and Mosala as a central defender,” read the statement. Speaking to Vusi Chinga, who is the father to 16-year-old Nkosinathi Chinga, he stated that as a parent he felt great for the boys’ achievement, who went to trial through their local club Colmor FC, under the watchful eye of coach Collen Moerane and the club’s co-owner Morgan Gout.
